Dikwena bags maximum points over AmaTuks
Platinum Stars FC seems to be on the right track and their plan working well for their success. Dikwena wakes up today from a well-deserved victory over AmaTuks at the Tuks Stadium, after their long unbeaten run. A late goal from Rodgers sealed their victory and moved them up to the 12th spot, with still a game at hand. Allan Freese attacked AmaTuks with the same squad that beat Swallows in their last game with Ng’ambi introduced on the bench after his long injury rehabilitation.

Stars got off to a bright start with Ndumiso Mabena going within centimetres of gaining a goal with five minutes on the clock.

The visitors dominated in midfield with the AmaTuks defence under constant pressure in the opening half-hour. At the end of the day it was Dikwena that needed the maximum points and utilised the chance at the last minutes of the game.

The next game is a home game at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace with Maritzburg United.
