Just in time for the last 16 round of the Nedbank Cup, Platinum Stars FC will have to work hard to go past MamelodiSundowns FC, who will be the visiting side at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace on Sunday afternoon. Segolela has won the last Nedbank Cup with Orlando Pirates FC last season and he looks to add value and contribute to the up-coming game. Dikwena advanced to the last 16 round after beating The Magic FC 3-0 over a month ago at the same venue and will be looking to beat Sundowns, whom has never won a game against Dikwena in cup competitions recently.

“It is such a priviledge to be playing for this side especially in this tournament. I know the importance of the Nedbank Cup and all I can do is offer my experience, seeing that I reached the final with my previous team. It is going to be a challenging game for us, but we are ready and we should be able to win this one if we tell ourselves how bad we need this one. This is the only domestic cup we have then the end of the league, we must at least reach the final and show the capabilities of this team. I mean, we have reached the final of the TKO and the semi-final of the MTN8, what makes it difficult for us to make it through to the final of the Nedbank? Team work, positive spirits and support from all angles, especially the supporters from the province” Segolela comments.

The game will start at 15:00 and will be live on SuperSporttv, with updates on the social media platforms. Tickets to the game are available through Computicket.
