Johnson ecstatic as Mabena fires Dikwena into quarterfinals
This season Ndumiso Mabena hasn't been scoring on regular basis.

However when he does, it's always special. Mabena came off the bench and proved a hero by scoring the goal that enable Dikwena to advance to the quarterfinals of the Nedbank Cup. Dikwena and Baroka FC were locked at 0-0 and time was running out for Dikwena, who were reduced to 10-men. There needed to be a here. Then Mabena rifled a fierce shot with few seconds remaining in the match.

Dikwena coach Cavin Johnson revealed that his technical team was preparing for penalties before the Mabena's intervention.
"We are happy we won but we played 120 minutes which requires us a lot of time to recover. Half of this team will probably travel to Ivory Coast. We need to make sure that we give good account of ourselves and South Africa," said Johnson.
The win was much needed for Dikwena. Prior last night’s win at the old Peter Mokaba Stadium, Dikwena had not beaten Baroka FC. Baroka had defeated Dikwena twice while one duel ended in a draw.

"It's fourth time lucky for us. What a game. It was not a normal football that we play. Credit to Baroka. They come at you all the time. You don't always come up against a team that comes at you for 120 minutes. They had a couple of chances and we also had chances. In the first half and in extra time Robert could have scored. I thought that was going to be a goal but he didn't put it in. There were so many chances but in the end we scored the goal that matters most. We go to the next round. We are in the hat and we are happy," said Johnson.

Dikwenas next assignment is away in Ivory Coast over the weekend.
