We can\'t take them for granted – Mnguni
Platinum Stars defender Siphiwe Mnguni says Dikwena will not underestimate Mbabane Swallows in their CAF Confederation Cup Group B Clash at the National Stadium in Swaziland this afternoon.

Swallows lost their opening Group B match against CS Sfaxien of Tunisia and their league is not on the same level with the PSL in comparison. These could make Dikwena players think it will be a walk in the park. However Mnguni says they can’t afford to take Swallows for granted.

“We can’t take them for granted. They have already lost against a Tunisian side. We are also coming here confidently that we are going to perform at our best. We can’t take them lightly that we are going to beat them. With our preparations and what we have, we have glimpse of what they can do. We came here with a plan. As long as we can apply the coach’s instructions on the field, then we can come out victorious,” Mnguni told Platinumstars.com.

“We have prepared very well. We have been doing well in the CAF. Home and away we have done well. We are not making a lot of mistakes like we used to. We are going confidently into this game to win it and not to get a draw.”

Dikwena skipper Vuyo Mere also expressed confidence in his men garnering all the points in this afternoon’s clash.
“Every game we play is very crucial to us. It’s a challenge on its own playing in the group stages of the Confederation Cup. We don’t want to put ourselves under pressure. We know what’s at stake. We want to go to the knockout stages of this tournament. So this game is very important in reaching our dream. It’s going to be a tough game against Swallows but we are prepared,” said Mere.

Kickoff is at 3pm.
