We will fight with everything we have - Ng’ambi
Platinum Stars veteran midfielder Robert Ng’ambi says Cavin Johnson’s men will go all out when they clash with CS Sfaxien in the CAF Confederation Cup this coming Sunday.

Ng’ambi and his teammates arrived in Tunisia on Friday afternoon after a tiresome trip to Sfax. With Dikwena at the bottom of the CAF Confed Cup Group B, Ng’ambi says their match against Sfaxien at Stade Taieb Mhiri is a must win.
“We can’t just come here and not fight. We have to give everything to the team. We have to go back home with a positive result. Everyone knows the importance of this game. We all know that the importance of a win so that it can put us in a good space. We need the points so that we can get through to the next round. We have got only one point. We need a win. The worst we can get is a draw. We need a win so that we can get to the next round of the tournament,” Ng’ambi tells Platinumstars.com.

“The team we play is a very top side. It’s one of the best teams in Tunisia, we know that we always struggle when we play smaller teams. We always do better when we play this kind of games. I hope that the guys will take all the positives of when we play against the big teams to Sunday’s match.”

As an experienced campaigner Ng’ambi, who has faced Tunisian opposition with his national team, will be expected to lead the youngsters. The Malawian is keen to do his part on the pitch.

“The youngsters have learnt because they have travelled to couple of games with the team. We need experienced guys like me, Mabena, Mathe, Scorpion and other guys to help youngsters understand this kind of games. For some of them it’s still learning process. It’s not going to be easy,” said Ng’ambi.
Ng’ambi has also acknowledged Dikwena management and coaching staff for their role in leading the team so far.

“We have to thank management and the coaching stuff. No one gave us a chance but we came very far. Without their support it wasn’t going to be possible. It’s a tough environment to be in. We have to be strong physically and mentally in order to continue.”

Kickoff is at 11pm.
