De Sa wants Dikwena to find their groove back
Newly appointed Platinum Stars coach Roger De Sa wants Dikwena to get back on track
and compete for silverware.

\"Platinum Stars is a side that for some time was very competitive. They won the
cups. They were comfortable in the top eight but in the last year and half, they
seem to not have found their groove. We have got to find that back,\" De Sa tells

De Sa was appointed to the head coach position last week Friday following the
departure of Peter Butler. The former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper believes Dikwena can
turn things around after an unimpressive start to the season.

\"The morale is very good despite the two bad results we have had. The guys are
pretty confident and ready to go. No one is walking around with their head down.
Everybody is confident that we can turn it around and get going. Certainly hope that
when we get to the half way stage we are in a totally different position and we
start looking to get into upper middle of the table and start challenging for few
trophies,\" said De Sa.

For someone who has coached a number of teams in the PSL, De Sa knows that it won’t
be a walk in the park in a role where pressure is the order of the day.

\"We live with pressure. When you are a coach, it’s pressure. We thrive on pressure.
As a football coach, you can’t sit back and not worry. You have got to worry
everyday and every minute of training. You have got to improve and try change things
around. That’s what the job is about. It’s a pressure job. There’s fun factor making
new friends but the job itself is a pressure job. You have got to be up for it,\"
said De Sa.

\"The players will give their best and so will I. We have got to turn it around. It\'s
in our hands to do so. Hopefully we will make everybody happy again. I have enjoyed
Rustenburg. For the last three days I have met so many people at different
restaurants. They want to see the team do well.\"

De Sa\'s first match is against SuperSport United in an Absa Premiership clash at the
Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville on Tuesday night

\"SuperSport are the form team at the moment. They are an established side with
quality players. Not ideal scenario to play them now after just one training session
but who knows maybe these are the best times to have a go. It’s a tough one but we
will give our best,\" said De Sa.
